In water structures, special type tie-rods are mounted on both ends to reinforce the mold. There is a protective pipe outside the tie-rods inside the mold. After the concrete is poured, the tie-rods are removed, and after the mold is taken out, the tie-rod holes are filled with special mortar with additives. It is made of ductile iron.
